United with my Christina!

Staying back in the loft where I lived was kind off a shock at first. Because it wasn't exactly the same as I left it (different people, a little remodeling) I actually became quite homesick. But I was with my best-y Christina and she is good at keeping me entertained. This last week started with ObzFest, the dismantlement of our group of awesome American travelers, Christina's 21st birthday, and her college graduation.

ObzFest proved to be a real scorcher. I burnt my shoulders the first day, even with my heavy handed sunblock action, so I had to remain covered up to prevent further damage. At times this was extremely hard because of the intense heat we have been having! (The type where showering no longer becomes a cleaning process, but instead a means of heat relief). Despite the heat though, ObzFest had amazing musicians, food, and a decent sized craft market where I purchased some trinkets and this gorgeous sterling silver and black pearl necklace for 140 Rand (14 US Dollars!).
